Prescription drug abuse often starts at home, with teenagers stealing unused medications from family medicine cabinets. Unwanted prescription drugs can be safely dropped off in collection boxes where they will be properly disposed of. Last year Northern Kentuckians safely disposed of over half a ton of medication through NKDSF disposal boxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That’s dangerous and often tragic. That’s why it was great to see thousands of folks from across the country clean out their medicine cabinets and turn in – safely and anonymously – a record amount of prescription drugs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
